There are a lot of memory stick formats out there. So much that it can be daunting to have a variety of devices that only support a certain kind of card. Fortunately, adapters were made to make our lives simpler.
If you’re the type of person who sticks to microSD cards (most likely because majority of your gadgets demand it), this little doohickey might pique your interest: the PhotoFast CR-5300.
What’s different about this adapter is that it can support microSDHC cards of up to 8 GB large. Great for your PSP and mobile phone if you need the extra space. The press release also says it’s compatible with any Sony product.
We’ll probably see more and more of these kinds of adapters in the future as the 8 GB microSD becomes more popular. No pricing for this model yet so it might be a while before we see it become available, but it’s worth keeping an eye out for.

In a current blog post made by Grin Creative Director Simon Viklun, he mentioned that they’ve been working hard to add the finishing touches on the game. Considering all the trailers and different game modes that they’ve been showcasing over the past few months, it’s pretty evident that the developers are looking to meet everyone’s expectations.
The developers are already making plans for the next retro title that they want to deliver to all the old-school fans out there. However, they want to make sure that everything goes off without a hitch from this upcoming title.
Bionic Commando Rearmed will be released as a digital download for the Computer, Xbox Live, and PlayStation Network.

France-based Infogrames has a modest forecast for Atari’s survival horror Alone in the Dark (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, Personal computer) by developer Eden Games.
David Gardner, recently appointed Infogrames CEO, told Reuters UK that the company expects two to three million copies of Alone in the Dark to fly off shelves during this fiscal year.
That period in question begins March 2008 and ends April 2009. The game is slated for release on all its intended platforms except the PS3 this June 20 in Europe and June 24 in the U.S.
Infogrames’ head honcho explained that projected sales of Alone in the Dark is expected to help the struggling company escape from decline territory.
“We want to halt losing money,” stated Gardner. “This management’s team number one goal is to get a business plan together that gets us to a break-even level.”

Telltale has been pretty successful with their Sam & Max series of episodic content. The question is, what made the game pretty successful when others gave have failed.
Telltale’s CEO Dan Connors said in a current interview with GameSpot that the game’s success stems from the fact that his studio was built with the specific purpose of capitalizing on the episodic content. He also pointed out that they decided to stick to this model even when others gave up on it:
We stuck to our guns and kept going, while they had so many other things going on at the same time. They bailed out a little earlier. We were all in it together then they dropped off.
Connors commented that this year’s GDC was pretty interesting as it gave them a look at other companies who were looking into producing episodic content. He pointed out that these companies were encountering problems that were familiar to them such as price points and more:
Every other year we’ve been there it was speaking about the future of episodic gaming. This year Hothead was there, and a couple other companies trying to get started in it were bumping into real, tangible issues, and they sounded so familiar to us.
There were more things discussed in the full interview. If you want to read it, feel free to follow our source link below.
