Talking with Games Industry, Infogrames CEO David Gardner released a bold statement on the recently rejuvenated Atari company. In terms of doing business and games, he stated that they don’t have room for mistakes anymore.
The reason behind this is that Gardner is very well aware of how competition in the gaming market is really tough. New products from Atari must be able to sell in order to it to restart its business.
Furthermore, Gardner stated that the step they have to undertake must be able to deliver well to their customers. With this situation, he added that they were ” threading the needle a tiny bit.” According to him, it’s not easy to recover for small companies when things don’t sell that well.
