Computer gamers looking forward to the release of Capcom’s Devil Might Cry 4 had to wait months longer than their console counterparts, but that doesn’t matter now as the publishers have confirmed its Summer 2008 release.
Capcom states good things come to those who wait, and in this case, it couldn’t be more true. DMC 4’s PC version will have two new modes and visuals amped up to new extremes.
The first new mode is the Turbo Mode which pushes the action to insane speeds which weren’t possible in the consoles. Also included is the legendary Dark Knight Mode that’ll challenge even seasoned veterans with areas in the game overflowing with more monsters than the consoles could handle before.
For those who have an eye for eye-popping visuals, cut scenes will now move at 120 frames per second. This is a large leap taking into account that console versions only sported 30 frames a tick.
A demo will be released prior to DMC 4’s shelf debut so owners can test how their systems will perform with it. Launch dates haven’t been revealed, but we’ll inform you as soon as new word is out.
