Spore may have familiar elements for fans of Maxis games, but you have to admit it’s quite a jump from what we’re normally used to seeing from the studio. In Spore, you’re going to design your own species, starting from its roots as a single celled organism.
For those who are still in doubts whether the game will be worth the cash, here’s your opportunity to lay your mind at rest. Maxis and Electronic Arts will be releasing the Spore Creature Creator demo version of the game for the Mac and the Personal computer on June 17.
The demo will let you’ve control of 25 of the creature-making parts from Spore. While your choices of creating your species is limited, Computer gamers will still have access to the video uploading feature, which allows you to show off your creature on YouTube.
