Famitsu has disclosed that as of last week, worldwide shipments of the game series have exceeded the 1.5 million mark. As a recap, Warriors Orochi is a crossover of Koei and Omega Force’s Dynasty Warriors 5 and Samurai Warriors 2 titles. A total of 79 characters are in the game, with players seeking to ally themselves for or against Orochi, the Serpent King.
Warriors Orochi 2 in particular was released just last month, April 3, to the territories of Japan.
