Capcom has just rolled out a new trailer for their upcoming Street Fighter IV title (PS3, Xbox 360, Computer). What makes this video particularly special is that it’s done away with the cell-shaded graphics from the past clips, instead opting for some old-school anime-style combat sequences.
Ryu and Akuma make their appearance in the video still trying to beat living snot out of each other (as always). Ken also makes an appearance, as does a mystery figure from old Street Fighter lore. Shen Long? Not exactly, but if you’re familiar with the North America localization mix-ups from the franchise’s past, you just might recognize the dude. Let’s just state he’s not quite as “dead” as he’s supposed to be.
Anyway, it would be wrong to spoil what exactly transpires in SF4’s latest video. You can access it below, conveniently left in its Japan dubs to ensure you get the most of the immersion experience.
Buy: [ Street Fighter IV (PlayStation 3), (Xbox 360) ]

Do you think Diablo III is workable on a console? Can’t quite envision it, eh? Well dear Rob Pardo of Blizzard thinks it’s “theoretically possible”.
At the recently held, and successful, WorldWide Invitational Event last weekend, Blizzard’s vice president of game design did make it clear that Diablo III will only be for Computer and Mac exclusively. However, this statement does not necessarily preclude the possibility of it ever being ported to consoles. Theoretically, at least.
States he, “I think it’s theoretically possible. It would have some control changes that I think you’d have to make.. But it’s probably, of our major franchises, the one that’s most console friendly, for sure.”
It won’t exactly have to be a redesigned game, but there are a lot of concerns and issues that must be dealt with, if ever, such as the point-and-click spells and target selection. “Out of StarCraft, Warcraft or WoW, Diablo would be the easiest game to translate. But it would still take a bit of work.”
Now this would be one theory I wouldn’t mind seeing come to reality. No rush, Blizzard. We can be very patient.

THQ and JAKKS Pacific have announced this day the cover Superstars who will be gracing WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo Wii, DS). It will be none other than D-Generation X founding members Triple H and Shawn Michaels.
The focus of this year’s installment in the franchise is the tag team mode. This will be enriched further by the Road to Wrestlemania campaign that’ll have players guiding a pair of their favorite pro wrestlers in an expansive story mode full of challenges and choices to make. JAKKS thought that Michaels and Triple H are the perfect pair to symbolize this year’s theme, hence the choice for the cover art.
Both Michaels and Triple H sport legendary careers in sports entertainment. Michaels is the WWE’s first-ever Triple-crown champion and Triple H is the second man to accomplish the feat. Michaels has been a WWE champion four times while Triple H has captured the gold no less than a dozen times.
Both men command large fan bases because of their cool characters and appetite for mayhem. Watch out for them when WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2009 comes along later this year.

Rumors have been circulating on the internet that Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic themed video gaming Fallout 3 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Computer) may not be making it to the land down under.
A poster on the GameSpot forums said that the game has been denied classification by the Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC) Board of Australia.
The rumor stated that Fallout 3 was denied classification because it features use of Morphine. The presence of this in the game is stated to fall under the OFLC set of reasons for not classifying a video game, specifically this one:
Depict, express or otherwise deal with matters of sex, drug misuse or addiction, crime, cruelty, violence or revolting or abhorrent phenomena in such a way that they offend against the standards of morality, decency and propriety generally accepted by reasonable adults
If this rumor holds true, then the game can not be sold on retails shelves in Australia. In addition, we have the ability to probably expect a resurgence in the talks on expanding the rating system in the country from being limited to MA15 to going as high as R18 .
